SRTA acquires goods and services through the competitive bid process. This may be done through the issuance of Request for Quotes (RFQ), Request for Proposals (RFP), and Invitation to Bid (ITB). Contracts resulting from RFQs are determined from responsive and responsible bidders meeting all requirements (specifications) that are lowest in cost. Contracts resulting from RFPs are determined from responsive and responsible offerors that propose the best value to SRTA. Contracts resulting from ITBs are determined from responsive and responsible bidders meeting all requirements (specifications) that are based on price.
